When we were traveling last summer we got stuck in Seattle and spent the night in the USO which is like a military lounge. There was a kids room with toys and movies and beds and stuff and that's where families were supposed to sleep. There were a lot of people there but we were the only family there so it was fine. We got the kids to sleep and my mom and I were trying to fall asleep (dad was in another room watching a movie) when around midnight this lady came in and saw that we were there and then left. Mom and I got curious and realized she had 3 very little kids with her and no husband with her. She was trying to get her kids to sleep on the floor outside because we were taking up all the couches and all that was left were these two cribs. My mom went and told her to come in and helped her with the kids. I pulled the mattresses out of the cribs and put them on the floor and moved stuff around so that mom and I were on the same couch and this lady could have a couch. Her name was Amanda. She was moving from Anchorage to (I believe it was) Missouri. She was a total sweetheart. We talked for a while and she was just an all around awesome lady. Turns out she was Mormon- more than that, she told my mom (when she thought I couldn't hear) that she could tell that we are LDS because I started rearranging the room to make room for her and her babies. I didn't even think about it. I just got up and started trying to help. I wasn't looking for praise or recognition, I was just being myself. So take from this story, what is the first impression you give off? Is it one you want to give?
